Rolling into this next question, how many pounds do the bands actually amount to. Roughly each band provides about 35 lbs of weight at its normal length. But, this does not really determine the weight you are actually moving for a couple of reasons.
- If you loop the bands to shorten the length, this will change how much weight you are moving. The further away you loop the bands from the hook they are clipped into, the more resistance and weight you are actually doing. Vice versa, the closer you loop them, the less resistance you are adding.
